Chairman of KPMG’s Global Financial Services Practice
In October 2017, Jim was appointed Chairman of KPMG’s Global Financial Services Practice. In this role he advises clients across the globe on how to assess and respond to the changing landscape of Financial Services. Prior to this appointment, Jim served as Americas Leader, Global Financial Services and was a member of the Global Financial Services Leadership Team. Jim also continues to oversee KPMG’s global efforts related to audit quality within the banking industry, with particular focus on understanding, assessing and enhancing audit quality for KPMG’s portfolio of Global Systemically Important Financial Institutions (G-SIFIs) and Domestically Systemically Important Financial Institutions (D-SIFIs).
From 2010-2015 Jim served as Vice Chair, Audit for KPMG LLP, the U.S. member firm of KPMGI. In that role, Jim created and executed the strategic vision for the U.S. Audit practice, and led a team of over 850 Audit partners and more than 7,500 Audit professionals. In addition, Jim served as the Regional Head of Audit, Americas and Chair of the Americas Audit Steering Group. Jim has more than 35 years of experience serving global KPMG clients.
